With Website Payments Pro, your customer will be presented with an option for "Express Checkout" using Paypal. When selected, they will be redirected to the paypal site where they will login and choose their payment method. They are then returned to your site where their Paypal account information is recorded into the order database. They do not have to enter their shipping and billing info ever again on your site! If they don't choose Express checkout, they can setup an account or login on your site. On the final payment page, they are still given the choice to go to Paypal, or, can supply card details on the payment page. Card details are sent by script to Paypal's gateway and order is recorded upon successful completion. Merchant Account , virtual terminal, and internet gateway is included in a low $20 monthly fee. No setup fees.

Verisign offers two payment gateway methods. 5th Avenue Software supports both of them--Payflow Link and Payflow Pro.
Cons: A little on the expensive side, unless you're using Payflow Link.
Pros: Seamless integration with Payflow Pro. Merchants without SSL can utilize Payflow Link. Verisign offers many great fraud-detection features and includes a virtual terminal. |
