To designate an item as a featured item, you can check the featured item box in the product's record or, go to the featured item option in the merchant control panel, and enter appropriate search parameters to limit the products retrieved for selection, (or you can leave as is to retrieve all). Then simply check and uncheck the featured item boxes as needed. There is no limit to the number of items you can select, but it is recommended that you select no more than you can reasonably display in the page area you have set aside for this. The default templates for featured products do not facilitate page navigation.
