The add/edit product forms in the merchant control panel facilitates the data entry for product information. When a new field is added to the product table using the Database Wizard, the field will automatically show on the add/edit form in the form area that was specified. If the field was specifed as a required field, an error message will display if field is left empty. Required fields are notated by an asterick.
Image fields will be displayed such that in the merchant control panel, the image file can be uploaded. It will be placed in the product image directory. This image should be of an appropriate shape and size as not to cause distortion when displaying. It should be noted, the image URL is stored in the database field, not the image itself.
Deleting an item: Please note that when you delete an item, or change an item's product ID, it will no longer be available for saved carts and order history.
