This method captures credit card information on the merchant's secure site and stores the encrypted number in a credit-card payment database along with other card and account information. While every effort has been made to safe-guard this information, it's security is still the merchant and web administrator's responsibility to follow secure practices to ensure confidentiality of this data. The utility to extract this credit card information is found on the merchant control panel. The link to the extract utilizes SSL, but viewing this information on the web still has associated risks. The credit card data, once collected and stored is not accessible from the store side in any way.
The default template used with this payment option is "inhouse_payment". In the event of credit card error, the inhouse_payment_error template is used. This is identical to inhouse_payment, except for the top script include tag.
