There are three methods to setup category featured products.
By using the "categorize products" option in the Merchant Control Panel, you select the category you wish to select a featured product for, and then search for a group or all products to list. These results will list all products in that category that meet the criteria you selected with checkboxes to indicate which products will be featured in the specified category.
The second method is after adding, or editing a specific category, the completion screen will include a link to "Category Featured Products " in which you can pick one or more products of this category to feature.
The third method is to import a comma or tabbed delimited file with the featured products. The format for the category_features file is simply:
category_ID,product_ID
Remember that category_ID will be a pre-assigned integer value. |
